Results from variants of the Fisher equation in the study of epidemics and bacteria

چکیده

The Fisher equation, which combines di/usive motion of individuals with nonlinearities arising from their growth and competition processes, is analyzed, generalized, and applied to the dynamics of bacteria, pattern formation, and the spread of epidemics.
